The Brut Réserve Particulière draws its strong
personality from an exceptional terroir.
BLEND:
It is composed of 20% of the Chardonnay
grape variety, for elegance and delicacy, 40% of Pinot
Noir, for roundness and structure and 40% of Pinot
Meunier for fruitiness.
APPEARANCE:
Pale gold in colour, abundance of delicate bubbles.
NOSE:
Floral, fruit with subtle predominance of white fruits:
pear, apple, almonds and hazelnuts.
PALATE:
Fresh opening, smooth, pleasant and balanced.
CRUS:
100 to 150 crus take part in the composition. 15 to 35% of
reserve wines are used to ensure that the quality and style of the Brut
Réserve Particulière remains consistent year after year.
AGEING AND WINEMAKING:
Nicolas Feuillatte ages this Brut for 3 years, although the legislation
only imposes a minimum ageing period of 15 months.
THE WINEMAKER’S COMMENTS:
"3 years maturing in the cellar and consistent quality: an elegant wine
suitable for drinking as an apéritif or for accompanying an entire meal."
